About Hanh D. Nguyen

Hanh Nguyen, CFP®, MBA, is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Krilogy, working with individuals and families out of Krilogy’s office in St. Peters, MO. He joined Krilogy in 2016 and has more than 10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on physicians, executives, and small business owners.

Before becoming an advisor, Hanh spent more than a decade in education, and that background still shapes how he works with clients. He listens carefully, explains things clearly, and makes sure clients understand the reasoning behind their plan. Every plan starts with clarifying a client’s vision and objectives, and he builds from there through strong relationships and open, ongoing communication.

Hanh holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, an MBA from Lindenwood University, and a Master of Educational Administration from Missouri Baptist University.

Why I became an advisor

I believe everyone deserves an advisor who will serve in their interest with care and integrity. I became a wealth advisor to help families like mine get access to comprehensive financial planning and the kind of guidance that leads to a more secure retirement. Helping others has always been what motivates me, first as an educator and now as an advisor. Teaching showed me that people make better decisions when they understand the why behind them, and I bring that same approach to every conversation about a family's future.

Working with me

I work best with physicians, executives, and small business owners who are focused on growing their businesses. As a business owner myself, I understand many of the challenges they face, and I can offer practical guidance grounded in shared experience. Our first meeting is about getting to know each other and building a shared understanding of the role each of us will play. One question I often ask is, "What does an ideal retirement lifestyle look like for you and your family?" The answer gives us a starting point for everything that follows.

Outside the office

I'm the father of two wonderful children, and I've lived in St. Charles for more than 20 years. When I have free time, you'll usually find me on the golf course or out fishing.

Giving back to my community is important to me. I serve on the BJC St. Peters and Progress West Foundation Board, the St. Charles Family YMCA Board, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Board, and the KVC Missouri Regional Advisory Council. The causes closest to my heart are mental health and helping small businesses get off the ground.
