Billion Dollar Wealth Management Firm Enters its Eleventh Year with Continuing Growth
April 18, 2019 St. Louis, MO – Krilogy Financial®, a St. Louis-based wealth management firm with multiple locations across the region, has named Matthew Haywood, AIF®, CPFA® and Nathan Holt, CFP® as the newest partners in the firm. The expansion of the team of partners coincides with Krilogy’s ongoing, deliberate growth since its founding in 2009.
“In my early days at Krilogy, I quickly came to discover that the vast majority of retirement plan participants do not have access to quality financial planning advice,” said Haywood. “As we built the processes and team of advisors to service each plan, I set a goal to positively impact the lives of over 1 million retirement plan participants, their families, and the firm’s culture over the course of my career. The support system and values present here will allow for this goal to become reality.”
Holt began his career at Krilogy in 2010, and was the first young advisor to not only graduate from, but also play a key role in shaping, the Krilogy Advisor Development System (KADS) program. This program is designed to attract and mentor young, talented advisors to Krilogy, support them in building their business, and create the next generation of advisors. He now oversees KADS as the firm’s Director of Advisor Development and Financial Advisor Team Lead.
“I received a great deal of support and mentorship as a young professional at Krilogy, and that experience built my passion for mentoring new, talented wealth advisors,” said Holt. “When I joined the firm, I focused on providing the best options for clients’ goals, giving relentless effort to helping them while continuing to live our value of abundance with team members. I am humbled and deeply thankful for the opportunity to serve as partner, and fulfill on Krilogy’s mission to make a meaningful impact on society and change our industry.”
Haywood and Holt join existing partners John McArthur, Patrick Monahan, J. Patrick O’Brien, Jaime Shelton, and CEO Kent Skornia on the firm’s Executive Leadership team. Krilogy has 50 team members and three locations in the St. Louis area. The firm manages more than $1 billion in assets for families, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and employer-sponsored retirement plans. Krilogy has been recognized as an INC 5000 Hall of Fame company for its growth, and is currently listed on the Financial Times FT300 list of the United States’ top RIA firms.
“Both Matt Haywood and Nathan Holt have demonstrated deep dedication to Krilogy, and since day one, have believed strongly in the vision for the firm,” said Skornia. “They have each played an instrumental role in growing Krilogy, building their own practices and developing the team for the future through the attraction of young talent. They lead by example, and I’ve been honored to witness them grow their careers and their lives here.”
