At the heart of Brett’s Siegfried’s wealth management practice lies a strong passion for doing the right thing for clients, at all times. Doing so involves having access to other great investment minds, a best-in-class investing platform, professionals to manage tax and estate planning under one roof, and most importantly, an unwavering commitment to his fiduciary responsibilities. It became clear to Brett that Krilogy, the firm where he began his career nearly 15 years ago, was the place where he and his clients could reach their fullest potential. After spending five years at one of the world’s largest financial institutions, Brett returned to Krilogy in 2024 to be part of all that the firm has to offer, maximizing the client experience and delivering a high level of value.

Brett focuses his practice on serving high-net-worth clients and business owners, excelling in his ability to develop sophisticated plans and manage complex financial scenarios. He brings together his extensive insurance acumen and wealth planning experience with Krilogy’s team of CPAs and estate planning attorneys to help ensure his clients have proper, holistic financial plans in place that minimize tax exposure where possible and protect wealth throughout a client’s lifetime and through the wealth transfer process. Brett also holds a great deal of knowledge around facilitating cash flow for his clients, allowing them greater flexibility and helping them avoid the need to tap portfolio assets during periods that greater liquidity may be required.

Brett, a native St. Louisan, currently lives in Webster Groves with his wife and three children. The family enjoys the walkability and community feel of their neighborhood, and are active members of Mary Queen of Peace parish. In his free time, Brett enjoys golfing, duck hunting, and pheasant hunting.

Brett is a graduate of St. Louis University High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics at St. Louis University. He currently serves on the Development Board for Great Rivers Habitat Alliance.
