Fran Sanchez handles client on-boarding, business development and portfolio management at Krilogy Texas. His work is driven by an unwavering commitment to collaboration and teamwork, two principles that are ever-present at Krilogy.
Fran began his career in facilities management, working with big brands such as Home Depot, JC Penney, and Target. After more than a decade, he chose to pursue finance with the goal of helping to educate others and grow their financial literacy to lessen the intimidation they feel when it comes to making decisions about their money. He guides clients through financial planning and investing, providing the information they need to see the whole picture and feel confident when it comes to their finances. In addition to his role as educator, Fran holds a firm belief in transparency and approaches his work with the philosophy of Teach + Transparency = Trust.
In 2016, Fran graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas in Dallas, earning his degree in finance. He is currently pursuing a CERTIFED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Born in Guatemala, Fran moved with his family to Houston, Texas when he was 6 years old. Growing up, Fran was a competitive athlete with a collegiate talent for baseball. His competitiveness still plays a part in his team approach to meeting his clients’ goals and aspirations.
His hobbies and activities revolve around his family. He enjoys camping in the family RV at National Parks with his wife, Rachel, and son, Diego. His love of sports is carrying on with his involvement in his son’s sports leagues, including cheering Diego on in basketball in the Lovejoy ISD.
