Why I became an advisor

I became a wealth advisor because I wanted to give clients transparent, comprehensive advice that looks at their entire financial picture, not just one piece of it. Too often, advice focuses only on investments or insurance, but real financial planning means understanding how retirement, taxes, estate planning, risk management, and life goals all work together. I am passionate about helping people take control of their financial lives by educating them, simplifying complex decisions, and helping them make informed choices with confidence. Being a trusted partner through life’s important transitions is incredibly rewarding, and it is what motivates me every day.

Working with me

I work with business owners, women, and people going through major life transitions, each is often facing big decisions during those moments and having a clear plan alleviates stress. For business owners, that can mean retirement plans, tax strategies, succession planning, and balancing personal and business finances. I love collaborating with women who want to take a more active role in their finances, and for anyone navigating a death or divorce, I help organize the financial picture, understand the options, and map out a path forward with independence. The first meeting with me is a comfortable, judgment-free conversation. I usually start by asking, “What prompted you to reach out?” and then I spend a lot of time listening, because the best financial plans start with understanding the person behind the numbers.

Outside the office

I grew up in Iowa City, Iowa, and played college basketball at Maryville University. These days, life looks a little different, but it is still plenty active. My husband and I share our home with two golden retrievers who make sure there is never a dull moment.

When I am not working, I love painting, hiking, skiing, and traveling. Whether I am on a mountain, exploring somewhere new, or working on my latest painting, I am happiest when I am doing something creative or adventurous.
