About Francisco (Fran) Sanchez

Francisco “Fran” Sanchez is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Krilogy in Dallas, Texas, where he helps individuals and families build a clear picture of their finances. Fran joined Krilogy in 2023 and has more than 10 years of experience in financial services. As part of the team, he handles client onboarding, business development, and portfolio management.

Before moving into finance, Fran built his career in facilities management, including serving as Director of Operations at Prestige Maintenance, a commercial janitorial company that worked with large national retail brands. That operations background influences how he works today. He enjoys the in-depth analysis clients rarely see, from asset location optimization to identifying hidden risks and potential blind spots that could affect long-term plans. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas, and he holds a Series 65 license.

Clients often reach out to Fran for guidance through major life transitions, complex financial decisions, and periods of economic uncertainty, and they value his objective perspective during challenging times. His competitive streak also shapes his approach, and he brings a team mindset to helping clients work toward their goals.

Why I became an advisor

Finance always interested me, but what pushed me into the field was a disappointing experience of my own with an advisor and investing. I left facilities management because I wanted to help people build their financial literacy and feel less intimidated by money decisions. Today I guide clients through financial planning and investing so they can see the whole picture and feel confident about their finances. For me, teaching is just as important as advising, and being transparent every step of the way is how trust gets built.

Working with me

I especially enjoy working with blue-collar business owners, pre-retirees and growing families. Many of the business owners I work with come from modest beginnings, and I can relate to their circumstances. Growing families give us the chance to plan holistically, looking at every part of their financial lives together. In the first meeting, you can expect a genuine, empathetic conversation. I listen closely and work to create a comfortable environment where you can speak openly about your situation. My first question is, "What experience has significantly shaped who you are today?"

Outside the office

I was born in Guatemala and moved with my family to Houston when I was 6. Sports have always been a big part of my life. I was a competitive athlete growing up and had the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level.

My wife, Rachel, and I have been married for more than 20 years, and we have a son, Diego, and two dogs, Myla and Luka. Most of my free time is centered on family and sports. You can find me cheering Diego on at basketball games or our sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars, attending concerts, playing golf, or traveling in our RV to explore national parks.
