What I love about my work

My favorite part is the problem-solving that happens behind the scenes. Every client has a unique story, and I enjoy piecing together the details, working through complex questions, and spotting opportunities that can make a real difference for them. Clients usually see only the finished tax return, but the research, collaboration, and critical thinking that go into getting there are what I find most rewarding.

How I help clients

Taxes touch nearly every area of a client's financial life, so one of the most rewarding parts of my role is partnering with wealth advisors to help clients make informed decisions. Bringing a tax perspective into the conversation can uncover opportunities and identify potential risks, which supports more effective planning. When tax and wealth planning work together, clients benefit from a more comprehensive approach that keeps their financial strategies aligned with their long-term goals.

Outside the office

I'm a sixth-generation St. Charles resident, and today I live in New Town with my partner, Cody, and our Siberian Husky, Athena. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me playing sand volleyball, running, or training for my next powerlifting competition. I'm also a supporter of Beyond Type 1, a global nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted by diabetes.
