About DeAnna Kaber

DeAnna Kaber, AWMA®, FPQP™, is a Partner and Director of RIA Operations at Krilogy in St. Louis, where she oversees the operational foundation that supports the firm’s advisors, teammates, and clients. DeAnna joined Krilogy in 2020 and has more than 20 years of experience in wealth management. She holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP™) designations. She is also invested in developing the next generation of teammates who will help shape Krilogy’s future.

DeAnna studied psychology at Columbia College and began her career as Financial Aid Director at Allied Medical College. She moved into wealth management in 2004, joining Moneta as a Wealth Services Manager. In 2015, she and two partners launched their own registered investment advisor (RIA), where she served as Senior Wealth Advisor and Director of Operations. As a three-person team, they built the firm from the ground up, giving DeAnna a firsthand view of every role it takes to run a growing practice. By 2020, she was ready to join a firm with a strategic vision for growth and a strong culture, which led her to Krilogy.

What makes Krilogy different

Without question, it's our culture. There's a real sense of care for our teammates, our communities, and our clients, and you can see it in the way we work every day. I interview a lot of prospective candidates, and culture is one of the things I talk about most. A strong culture takes years to build and only moments to erode, so we protect it intentionally. When I ask teammates why they chose Krilogy over the many other RIAs in our industry, the answer keeps coming back to the people and the environment we've built together.

What does "The Art of Accomplishment" mean to you

To me, it means turning ideas into results. I've always enjoyed taking something that feels complex or overwhelming and creating the structure, processes, and solutions that help people move forward with confidence. Much of my role involves looking ahead, spotting opportunities to improve, and building systems that support our advisors, teammates, and clients. For me, accomplishment isn't about individual recognition. It's about creating something that helps others be more successful and leaves the organization stronger than it was before.

Outside the office

I live in West County with my husband, Jeremy, and we've been married for more than 25 years. We have two amazing children who are both pursuing master's degrees while following very different passions. Watching them both grow into caring, hardworking young adults has been one of my greatest joys.

Outside of work, I'm a middle blocker on a competitive women's volleyball team, and my favorite part of the sport is the relationships it creates. I've played with the same setter since 1995, which says a lot about the trust and teamwork we've built over the years. I also care about protecting our environment by reducing waste through recycling, repurposing, and donating things that are no longer needed, and I'm an advocate for animal welfare who regularly donates supplies to local pet shelters.
