Ben Orris, CPA, MBA, is a Tax Manager with Krilogy Tax Services in St. Louis, MO, where he provides hands-on tax planning and guidance for Krilogy clients. Ben joined Krilogy Tax Services in 2021 and brings nearly 20 years of experience in tax and financial services.
Before joining, Ben spent 14 years in public accounting, building customized strategies to help clients reduce their tax obligations and plan for the future. That work gave him broad experience across the tax world, including navigating matters with the IRS and other agencies. He values the close connection between tax planning and financial planning, which sits at the heart of Krilogy’s comprehensive approach.
Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from the University of St. Francis, and he has been a CPA since 2010.
For me, it's finding solutions that help ease a client's tax burden. Much of the work that makes a difference happens behind the scenes, as I look closely at each client's situation for opportunities that fit their goals. Knowing that work helps lighten the load for a client and their family is what I find most rewarding.

I grew up in Granite City, Illinois, and now live in O'Fallon, Illinois, with my wife, Sara, and our daughter, Sophie.
Soccer has been a big part of my life for a long time. I was captain of the men's soccer team at the University of St. Francis, and today I'm a dedicated fan who travels across the country to watch the U.S. national team and St. Louis CITY SC play. I also enjoy board games.
